| The
Nara International Seminar House opened in 1988 in a corner
of Nara Park for visitors to Nara. Equipped with a training
room and a reference room, it is the optimal environment for
learning about Nara and encountering it firsthand. |
 |
 |
 |
| The training room accommodates 50 persons and is fully equipped with audio-video equipment such as VCRs, OHPs, slide projectors and screens. It is widely used for academic meetings, training classes, seminars and workshops. |

| The
Kyusesonin Training Wing was originally used as guest
rooms of Kyusesonin, which the prefectural government
of Nara restored and conserves. It was constructed as
a subsidiary temple to the Kofukuji Temple early in the
Momoyama Era (latter 16th Century). The Lodging and Training
Wing is designed to harmonize with it. Together with the
garden, it creates an enthralling view blending the new
with the old. |
|
 |
 |
| Kyusesonin is an exquisite space that can be widely used for such purposes as training classes and exhibitions. |
