The year 2010! The 1300th Anniversary of Nara Heijo-kyo Capital has started to roll!!


This year marks the 1300th anniversary of the establishment of Japan’s first full-fledged national capital “Heijo-kyo”. Celebration of “The 1300th Anniversary of Nara Heijo-kyo Capital” began on January 1st. Various events will take place at different places in Nara Prefecture including the main venue of Heijo Palace Site.
