“Visit Japan Campaign” has been promoted in a close partnership between private and public sectors aiming to welcome more people from overseas. The year 2010 is termed “Visit Japan Year (VJY)” with a goal of receiving 10 million international visitors. Throughout the year, their website introduces facilities participating in the campaign and special benefits they offer.

The winter campaign, one of the main features of the VJY, is conducted from January through March of this year. Twenty-six facilities from Nara Prefecture are involved in this campaign and offer privileges like discount and presents.
